Bambino MioSolo Classic Nappy is birth to potty so grows with your baby by way of two sets of poppers at the front. The nappy itself is velcro fastening. The inside absorbent fabric is supersoft and made of microfibre which is very quick drying and offers good and reliable absorbency. On the inside of the pad is a tab to help you easily pull out the absorbent tongue before the soiled nappy goes into the nappy bucket.
Our Opinion – The MioSolo is designed to be birth to potty and to fit from 7-35lbs, however in my opinion it fits better from around 11lbs plus on most newborns. It is however a lot longer than other all in one nappies so if you have a very tall child this could be a good nappy to get you to potty training. The waist fitting is also exceptionally stretchy so it’s also a good choice for very chubby babies. It is not as expensive as the Bumgenius or Totsbots nappies so is great for parents on a budget who want one of the easy to use
Our Tips – This nappy is easy to boost with further bamboo boosters to increase the absorbency. There is also a little pocket at the end of the nappy tongue to help you easily insert the pad after washing. I also found this very useful to add extra boosters into, they fit nice and snug when tucked into this flap.
Washing – wash between 40° to 60°. It is recommended that these are prewashed 10 times. but realistically wash them twice and start using, after 10 washes you will find they reach their full absorbency. Bumgenius can be tumble dried on a low temperature however we recommend you only tumble dry occasionally so as not to damage the waterproofing or elastic. Please see our washing your cloth nappies for full details and tips on how to wash all your nappies. Wash dark colours separately for at least 2 washes until you are sure no colour is coming out of them, rest assured though, they will become colour fast pretty quickly.
