The Bumgenius Flip Day Time Organic Insert is a super soft and very absorbent organic cotton insert for the flip wrap 

The insert opens out into a large sheet to give much greater surface area to speed drying further.   Fold to the right size to fit your baby it fits from birth to potty.  These inserts work perfectly inside the flip nappy cover but can also be used with pretty much any brand of cover and also as a booster or insert.  Natural organic cotton fabric is more absorbent and breathable than micro fibres and polyester.  100% Oeko-Tex certified natural organic cotton means you can be sure no harmful chemicals will be next to your baby’s bottom.    This is a day insert for night time you’d need to use the Flip Organic Night time insert.

The Flip nappy system is simple and relative low cost.  You need 1 Flip Wrap for every 4 – 6 boosters.  If using on a newborn you may well need more wraps as newborn poo is runny and can easily get over the wrap which means you have to wash it more often,  so consider buying a few more wraps if you are using on very young babies.  You can also get night time organic and stay dry inserts  for the Flip wrap

My Opinion –  although this is a two part nappy system and two part nappies are generally excellent at containing runny poo, the Flip system is not always reliably leak proof on younger babies.  This is because the inserts are not shaped around the baby so do not create the double barrier!  But with the organic night time insert you can open it up and use some of the folds for prefolds,  and this will contain  runny poo much better than the stay dry insert.   See youtube video below.

Washing – wash between 40° to 60°.   Washing and Care – please read carefully our full ‘washing and care instructions’.  All nappies and wraps must be washed according to our care instructions otherwise the manufacturers guarantee will not be valid.  All new nappies must be washed before they are used.  Please note that when buying a large number of cloth nappies you should just wash a few in the first instance, and check you are happy with your choice, as I cannot refund on used or washed nappies. This nappy can be tumble dried on a low heat, however it is advisable to only tumble dry occasionally as it does shorten the life of the nappy and of course cost you more. Do not use Ecover washing powder or liquid with your cloth nappies
