Kissaluvs (Size 0 = 5 – 15lbs / 2.3kg – 6.8kg) are a slim fitting, soft and absorbent nappy.  They can easily be boosted to increase absorbency if your baby is a heavy wetter.  They fasten with a single row of poppers at the waist and are very adjustable and stretchy.  These 90% cotton fleece nappies are very soft and wash and wear well.  They are designed so only the soft part touches your baby’s bottom.  They come in 3 sizes. The advantage of buying sized nappies is that you get a good slim fit on your baby.  Size 0 is a fantastic new born nappy with a unique snap-down front to protect the umbilical cord.  You need to use a wrap with this nappy.

Bamboozle (6 – 18lbs / 2.7Kg - 8.2Kg) is a lovely organic nappy: very soft, slim fitting but incredibly absorbent. Tests have shown bamboo to be up to 60% more absorbent than cotton.  Bamboo is a natural and eco friendly option; it grows quickly with no need for pesticides or fertilizers and it is totally biodegradable.  The Size One is a lovely new born nappy. Bamboozles have a sown-in booster which you can fold to the front, for a boy, or the middle, for a girl.  Bamboo nappies do take longer to dry. Bamboozle won the ‘Mother and Baby Gold Award for Best Reusable Nappy 2006/7’.  You need to use a wrap with this nappy.

Popolini One Size (8-35lb / 3.6-15.9kg)  Previously the European partners for Motherease, Popolini now manufacture the ‘One Size’ nappy under their own brand name with minor modifications (this nappy is slightly wider across the front and has an extra popper position each side). This is a one-sized nappy made of a stretchy unbleached terry material that fastens with poppers. It is made of 85% cotton with 15% polyester for greater durability. The polyester is only in the weave of the nappy: the loop pile that is in contact with your baby is 100% cotton.  This nappy has several layers of material with a thicker pad at the centre. It can be adjusted at the waist for a smaller baby and the wings overlap to fit even a small newborn. An additional snap-in booster is included to give greater absorbency for older babies/toddlers, which makes it very good value, because with other similar nappies you have to purchase the snap in booster separately. The bindings at the waist and legs are soft and gently elasticated for a snug fit.  You need to use a wrap with this nappy.

Fluffles  (6 – 18lbs / 2.7Kg - 8.2Kg) This fantastic nappy by Tots Bots is lightweight and very quick-drying but nevertheless very absorbent. It is incredibly soft and Tots Bots are right when the say ‘it stays soft even after washing in hard water’.  It is made from 2 layers of Microterry, which is a synthetic fabric made from 100% polyester and is said to have antibacterial properties. It has a soft fleece lining and a pocket section with a snap in booster, for extra absorbency, included in the price.  You will need a wrap with this nappy.

Fuzzi Bunz (7 – 18lbs / 3.2 – 8.2kg) are a super nappy from America.  They have a super-soft polyester micro-fleece lining to help keep your baby drier, rash-free and comfortable. They have highly adjustable poppers which offer a snug fit whether your baby is chubby or skinny.  Fuzzi Bunz come with a micro-terry booster.  They are a slim-fitting nappy.  A truly great day time nappy, they are easy to use and very durable.  You may find that your baby will only need small and medium sizes before they are toilet trained. Pull the insert out after washing to speed up drying. (Tip: We found that by putting in an extra booster we could leave the nappy on for an hour or so longer.)

Wonderoos (8-35lb / 3.6-15.9kg) are a one-size ‘birth to potty’ nappy (which means it can be used throughout your baby’s time in nappies) and has various adjustable poppers to make it bigger or smaller. It is lined with a stretchy, soft 'stay-dry' fleece layer. Wonderoos nappies come with a double micro-terry booster/insert.  They are quite bulky on a new born baby but become a slimmer fitting, yet absorbent, nappy once your baby gets bigger (about 1 year upwards).  You can also buy an extra ‘Wonderful Hemp Booster’/Insert for extra absorbency at night time.  A super nappy and great value for money.  In a recent independent study by Which? Magazine, Wonderoos outperformed all other reusable nappies tested and outperformed 78% of disposable nappies tested!

Motherease All in One (10 - 20lb /4.5Kg - 9.1Kg) This is a popular ‘All In One’ nappy and is as easy to use as a disposable.   It has an extremely soft, durable and breathable waterproof outer in brushed knit laminated polyester fabric and a soft unbleached terry inner.  The size adjusts using poppers at the side to suit chubby legs and slim waists or vice versa comes in 3 sizes (small, large, extra large) but you usually only need small and large.  It is medium absorbency and there is plenty of room for a booster inside this nappy if you wanted to increase absorbency.
